Pregnancy Loss Support Group

Have you suffered from the loss of one or more pregnancies? The loss of a pregnancy brings up many difficult feelings and is often a silent grief. Even if your conscious mind isn't thinking about loss, your unconscious mind and body may be dealing with feelings of anger, grief, sadness, and shame. Regardless of whether your loss was recent or occurred in the past, we understand your need for support. This semi-monthly support group will offer a space for women to talk about their experience & feelings in community with others. Using talk therapy, yoga, and relaxation techniques we will process grief and loss, reframing and meaning, and holding hope for the future. Women with early and late term losses are welcome.

2014 Schedule

Thursday, July 24th 5:30-7pm
Thursday, September 25th 5:30-7pm

This group alternates monthly with our infertility support group. If you are experiencing both pregnancy loss and infertility struggles you are welcome to attend both.

$20 per group. Walk-ins welcome, but you are highly encouraged to reserve your spot ahead of time as space is limited.

Please feel free to call or email Bess Hart, LCSW with questions.

Infertility Support Group

Are you struggling with fertility? Infertility issues bring up many difficult feelings that are often experienced alone.

Even the word infertility can have strong negative connotations and stir up powerful emotions.  We understand that having difficulty conceiving can generate a great deal of stress that many women process alone. Our infertility support group will give you a space to connect with other women who may have had similar experiences on their journey toward becoming mothers. Even if your conscious mind isn't thinking about loss, your unconscious mind and body may be dealing with feelings of anger, grief, sadness, and shame. This semi-monthly support group will offer a space for women to talk about their experience & feelings in community with others. In addition to offering you a space to process your own experience, a support group gives you the opportunity to be part of the healing process for other women. Sharing your story could help someone else with the challenges they are facing. Offering your understanding can not only help others heal, but it may help you give more meaning to the challenges you have faced. Using talk therapy, yoga, and relaxation techniques we will process grief and loss, reframing and meaning, and holding hope for the future. Women with any variety of infertility struggles are welcome to attend.

2014 Schedule
